" I think, if it were me, for an extra 5 bucks I'd go buy another copy of the original and get twice the zombies and maps rather than save $5 but get literally half the cards and a 5th the zombies. "

Title: Zombies!!! 2: Zombie Corps(e) by Twilight Creations

      Format: Horror Game Expansion

      Reviewing Monkey: Dungapult

The Hype: You've got Zombies!!!…Now you need more zombies. Well, Zombie Corps(e) to the rescue.

      What This Monkey Thought...

Playability: Essentially an add-on, Zombies!!! 2 is really just more of what you might need to keep going. More map boards, more special cards, and some supplement rules enhance play some but are really just designed to give you more options to play with.
The "plot" for the expansion, simply enough, is that the military was doing their usual black ops experimentation and ended up creating a half dozen "super zombies" (represented by glow in the dark zombie miniatures). In gameplay terms, you add an "Army Base Entrance" map tile to the deck and, when it comes up, you can venture through it into a new and exciting base full of goodies and the afore mentioned super zombies.
Okay, so it's not the most original concept in the world but it does play nicely into the whole "bad zombie flick" feel of the game (and I'll award 20 monkey points to anyone who can tell me what movies this directly parodies). Good for those people out there who just don't think the city was big enough to begin with. 4 out of 5

Value vs. Cost: The biggest gripe I heard from players about Zombies!!! There just weren't enough zombies (even though it came with 100). Why then the add-on only comes with 6 is beyond me. And even though they are glow in the dark (which is cool) they are still the same mold and get lost in a game you can't play in the dark anyway. The new map tiles and event cards are cool (both with military themes) but I don't know if enhanced play is worth the $15 asking price. I think, if it were me, for an extra 5 bucks I'd go buy another copy of the original and get twice the zombies and maps rather than save $5 but get literally half the cards and a 5th the zombies. It stuns me that Twilight would have such a huge discrepancy in their pricing. 2 out of 5

      The Verdict:

All in all, Zombies!!! 2 is cool in much the same way Zombies!!! is cool. I just don't think it's cool enough to spring an extra 15 bucks on.

      The Good: More zombie goodness.

The Bad: A huge- and boy, howdy, do I mean huge- change in value from the original.

The Overall Ugly: How much do you care about glow in the dark zombies?

What it's Worth: Probably 8 bucks.
