      The Hype: Your Xbox has four controller ports and only comes with 1 controller. What ever will you do? Well, Saitek hopes you'll buy this controller to fill at least one of the gaps.

      What This Monkey Thought...

      Ergonomics: The Adrenalin has a distinctive horseshoe design that makes it unlike any other Xbox controller I've seen. That being said, the pad is obviously designed to grab smaller handed gamers since, much to my shock and surprise, lots of people have bitched about the size of Microsoft's standard pad. That being said, if you find the original Xbox pad too big, you'll probably love this. I, personally, don't…but I've got nice, large hands. 3 out of 5

      Features: There is absolutely nothing extraordinary about this pad. It has all the same buttons, in roughly the same place that you'd expect on any Xbox controller. That being said, it neither suffers in any sense so it's neither good nor bad. 3 out of 5

      Performance: Having said that this stick is decidedly normal let's talk about where it truly excels- in its functionality. These are, hands down, some of the smoothest and most controllable buttons and switches any controller has ever had. It's a gamer's wet dream to find analog this fluid and the triggers alone will give you an ability to play driving games you didn't even know you had. 5 out of 5

      How it Compares: : Aside from the button functionality, the only thing to separate this pad is the shape and size. So, go to the store, pick it up, and if it fits you, buy it. You'll love it. If it doesn't then hope Saitek someday makes a bigger version. 4 out of 5

      The Verdict:

All in all, this pad performs fantastically. The only up or down additionally is the size and shape- which unfortunately sucked for me…But you may love it. Go check it out.
