Title: X-Men Mutant Academy 2 Official Strategy guide by Brady Games

Format: Hint book for PSX game

      Reviewing Monkey: Simi N.

The Hype: Learn all the moves; unlock secret characters, master incredible combos for all the characters.

      What This Monkey Thought...

Layout: Like most strategy guides made by Brady Games this one has a good logic to its layout. The different chapters are ordered well, and the pages are set up so that they are easy to read. Unlike most Brady Games guides however, this one is visually boring. There are far too few character pictures on most of the pages, and many of the ones that are there are so faded that you don't even see them unless you're looking for them. 3.5 out of 5.

Usefulness: This book really tells you everything you need to know about the game. You can master all of the character's moves and unlock all of the bonus characters and really everything this game has to offer (which isn't a whole lot) is covered in this guide. If you bought the game, you may want to get the guide to get your moneys worth out of both of them. 5 out of 5.

Desired Content: Like I said, this guide has everything you need to know about this game (oh wait, it doesn't have secret codes tsk, tsk, tsk). It starts off with the basics on how to fight, and what special moves are good for, then is goes into each character's full sets of moves, starting with the basic characters and finishing off with the secret ones. 4.5 out of 5.

Accuracy: This is my personal favorite part about this review sheet because it is really quick to write. Everything that I had a chance to test out in this strategy guide was 100% accurate. I never had any troubles. 5 out of 5.

      The Verdict:

This guide has just about everything that you need to know, but it just doesn't look cool at all. It really is very, very bland.

The Good: Logical layout, tons of information, and it will help you get everything out of the game.

The Bad: Really bland presentation, and it doesn't have any secret codes listed.

The Overall Ugly: If you already got the game you may as well get the guide. Just don't expect it to offer any eye candy.

      What it's Worth: Market.
