      The Hype: Learn everything there is to know about the venerable Tony Hawk 2. What did you expect? Cooking recipes?

      What This Monkey Thought...

      Layout: Each section covers a different map, or other aspect of the game and they are all color-coded so finding the section you desire is very easy. All the tricks and skater bios are in the front along with general game tips, followed by detailed sections on each level, all this is trailed by cheats and a park editing help. Brady makes even a monkey’s job easy. 5 out of 5

      Usefulness: Everything you need to know about a park, or a skater is here, in detail. If you cannot beat the game after using the book it’s because you suck. Don’t blame Brady. The one thing I could find to complain about is that the screen shots used are on the small side. Screen shots are notoriously hard to decipher information from in the first place; making them small only compounds the problem. On the other hand I definitely found information in the book that wasn’t covered in the instructions at all. 4.5 out of 5 (Screen shots are like weenies—no one wants a small one)

      Desired Content: Can’t think of one thing Brady missed here. All the cheats, parks, skaters, tricks, hidden areas and even the unlockables are included. Undoubtedly a 5 out of 5.

      Accuracy: In the parks I skated Brady didn’t miss a beat, everything was where they said it was, I was usually just too incompetent to get it. Sometimes it was tough to decipher from the pictures where exactly items were, but the description was usually good enough to get you through. I couldn’t find one thing they were wrong about. I am sure that statement will come back to haunt me. 5 out of 5

      The Verdict:

A great addition to an incredible game. The hint book will help you immensely in the never ending hunt for the perfect run, all that without a lot of "skater" lingo to add street credibility.

      The Good: Everything you want in a hint book.

      The Bad: Screen shots will remind you of when your girlfriend kept telling you, "It’s a good size"

      The Overall Ugly: I can’t wait for the hint book for Wheels of Blood. (Read the THPS2 review)
