Reader Reviews Submission Rules

•    The monthly prize drawing is taken randomly from all reviews submitted within the relevant calendar month (1st through 30th/31st). Each accepted review is a chance to win (regardless of when review is posted).
•    If you win the monthly drawing, we will notify you via the email address you provided with your winning review (so make sure it's accurate).
•    Only submit your own original, license and rights free, independent reviews.
•    Post only one review per product please.
•    For games; try and get at least 10 hours of play in before submitting a review.
•    For video games and controllers; make sure you specify a system (we can't post your review without it).
•    Don't forget to fill in all of the categories in the review.
•    Keep your reviews concise and on topic. 80-100 words per category in the review is just about perfect length.
•    Try your best not to reveal any major spoilers or other info that may ruin the experience for another monkey reading your reviews.
•    Please check your spelling and grammar before submitting your review and don't do silly things like write in all caps or use Internet shorthand (i.e. "lol", ";)", etc.). If your review needs excessive editing it will make us angry- and you wouldn't like us when we're angry…because that means we may not post your review.
•    No excessive cursing or inappropriate references.
•    Keep your review references limited to your own experience with the product. Don't make reference to other reviewers or other reviews.
•    Your byline will be listed as your full name, but your email address and any other personal information will be kept strictly private.
•    If your review has been accepted but isn't posted right away- don't sweat it. We only post so many reviews a week and sometimes a review will sit in the queue for a while before going up. Don't worry, though…if we say we're going to post it, then we're going to post it.
•    Don't post a review for any company or product that you are directly affiliated with.
•    All reviews submitted become the sole property of Game Monkey Press, Game Monkeys Magazine, and its licensees with all rights reserved. Game Monkeys may reproduce, distribute, publish, display, edit, modify, create derivative works and otherwise use the material for any purpose in any form and on any media.
•    The author of any submitted review agrees to indemnify Game Monkeys for all damages and expenses that may be incurred in connection with the material.
