" You can unlock through the game if you're good enough (though I, personally, am not good enough, and it tears me up inside). "

Title: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 Official Strategy Guide by Brady Games

Format: Hint book for PS2 version

      Reviewing Monkey: Simi N.

The Hype: Beat the game and unlock all nine levels. Get all the secret characters and master all the tricks!

      What This Monkey Thought...

Layout: I've come to expect hint books from Brady Games to have a very good layout. This book didn't disappoint. The guide starts you off (appropriately enough) with the basics then gets you intimate (not that way) with the strengths, weaknesses, and tricks of all the pro skaters. Then the book takes you on a comprehensive tour of all the courses in the game and finishes it all of with the many secrets that you can unlock through the game if you're good enough (though I, personally, am not good enough, and it tears me up inside). 5 out of 5.

Usefulness: You know this guide can be truly useful to players of all abilities. The guide has just crap-loads of useful information for the beginner as well as the advanced players. I mean let's face it the game just has an unbelievable amount of hidden, or hard to get secrets, not to mention the seemingly thousands of gaps that can be mastered. 5 out of 5.

Desired Content: Good lord! This book has everything that you would ever want to know about the game! It has all the useful information on how to get awesome scoring lines for each level, it shows you where all of special gaps are in each level, and it even has a section to get you going with the level editor. All through the book there are loads of full color screenshots to help you figure it all out. Oh yeah it has cheat codes also! Fact is, if you have this guide and your friends don't they can kiss their chances of ever beating you goodbye! 5 out of 5.

Accuracy: Not only is everything in the game listed in the guide, but also everything seems to be one hundred percent accurate as well all of the scoring lines were right on, the locations of gaps and objectives, were perfect! You won't be disappointed with the way this book guides you. 5 out of 5.

      The Verdict:

You can stop looking for a guide right here this is the one you want so why don't you get your ass up, go out and get it! It has everything you need and or want to know about the game.

The Good: Everything in the book.

The Bad: If you run out of toilet paper and this book is the only thing you could possibly use in the house the glossy pages make it ineffective.

The Overall Ugly: Get it, read it, beat the game, unlock the secrets, show off your prowess, get the chicks!... okay everything but that last one.
